Hoops Schedule!



Hi, Coach Andy Lockwood here.

Please "opt in" to my site (below) to get your copy of the basketball schedule for the YMCA Division I Georgetown Hoyas.

A quick note on my style -

I believe firmly in the philosophy "everyone plays, everyone wins."  So I will ensure that each child gets a chance to pass, shoot, dribble, rebound and defend.  I will also try to play each child a minimum of one half per game.

This means that I will not be coaching to "win" or beat the other team.  I'm coaching to teach a little about basketball and a lot about being on a team.

So I'm not open to suggestions or complaints about your child not playing enough or the correct position. I'm a volunteer and I'm doing my best.  (Hey, I know it sounds a little harsh, but I've been coaching for 20 years and this stuff is better said at the beginning!  For clarity's sake.)

So provide your first name and email and you'll get a copy of the schedule in pdf format.
